Legal Basis for Receiving Aid and Donations
According to Clause 1, 2, Article 4 of Decree 47/2021/NĐ-CP:
1. Social enterprises may receive non-governmental foreign aid to pursue their goals of addressing social and environmental issues, as regulated by the law on foreign non-governmental aid.
2. Social enterprises may also receive domestic and foreign sponsorship in the form of assets, finances, or technical support to fulfill their social and environmental missions from individuals, agencies, and organizations operating in Vietnam.
Receiving Foreign Aid and Donations
According to Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 80/2020/NĐ-CP:
“The management and use of aid must comply with Vietnamese law. Aid may only be received, implemented, and used after approval from the competent authorities of Vietnam.”
