Mai Tam Social Enterprise is a new development built upon the foundation of patient care activities carried out by the Camillian Order of Health Ministry (Camillians).
The predecessor of the enterprise is a long journey of 15 years of service, starting in 2003 when the Camillian priests committed themselves to patient care activities at the Archdiocese of Saigon.
Various groups of patients have received care, including those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer patients, the poor, and the elderly without shelter.

  • VISION

  • MISSION

  • Mai Tâm Social Enterprise envisions a humane society where people receive comprehensive healthcare, are empowered with knowledge to care for themselves, and where goodwill is valued, connected, and nurtured so that everyone can join hands in serving community health.

  • 1.  We value and create conditions for all patients — especially those who are poor, lonely, or homeless — to be welcomed, loved, and cared for; to understand and face their health reality in a positive and healthy way, thereby regaining faith and meaning in life.

    2.  We value, connect, and empower those engaged in humanitarian caregiving so they can serve with a spirit of selfless love, and find joy and meaning in their work; helping them serve more effectively by promoting, connecting, and continuously enhancing the organization’s capacity for compassionate care.

CORE VALUES

  • Respect

    Respect for human dignity

We believe that every patient possesses value and dignity equal to any other human being. Each one has the right to live, to receive care and treatment, to recognize their own worth, and to contribute to society in their own way — even amidst illness and suffering.

  • Integrity

    Integrity and Transparency

We have a monitoring, financial reporting, and auditing system to ensure transparency in the use of all donations and funding. We are committed to using 100% of all revenues for the humanitarian activities of the social enterprise.

  • Gratitude

    Gratitude in Action

We cultivate a holistic sense of gratitude — from the opportunity to give, to the experience of receiving — bringing joy and happiness to everyone involved.

  • Love

    Love and Connection

We send a message of compassion and love to society, expressed through the spirit of our caregivers, the purpose of our mission, and the goodwill that connects different segments of the community with those in need.
